at the funeral home. Monica plans to complete a Funeral Director’s
apprenticeship and obtain a Funeral Director’s license.

Ikey and his wife Monica decided that they wanted to establish the business in
Manning because this was home to them. They wanted their daughter, Molly, and
son, Trent, to grow up close to family and within a church that they love so
dearly, the Manning United Methodist Church. Ikey and Monica want for their
children what they experienced for themselves - the blessing of living in such a
loving, caring, and supportive community.
Monica and Ikey not only have gained knowledge through their professional
experiences, but also through experiencing personal tragedies. Because of these
experiences, they are making every effort to better serve and meet the needs of
families with the compassion and care that they deserve. Monica and Ikey know
that they are truly blessed and are thankful for this opportunity to provide the
love, care and support that the community has provided for them and their
family.
